This is how we support you with the P-account certificate

Nationwide:

We offer you the creation of a P-account certificate nationwide. In addition to social benefit providers such as the job center and family allowance offices, which are obliged to issue you these certificates, we are available to you as a debt counseling center.

Credit:

Certain benefits to secure a living, such as one-off special payments for school trips or initial equipment, are not subject to seizure. Any unused monthly credit can be used until the end of the next month.

Cost:

The P-account certificate costs 80 euros and must be paid in advance.

How high is the statutory basic allowance in 2024/2025?

The basic allowance for a P-account is currently 1,340.00 euros per calendar month (as of February 23, 2024). From July 1, 2024, the amount exempt from seizure will be increased to 1,409.99 euros. Those obliged to pay maintenance can receive an allowance of up to 2,050.00 euros per month. There are also cases in which debtors are entitled to additional legally protected amounts of money.

Increase your P-account allowance – in 3 steps

1. Calculate amount:
   Let us calculate the amount by which you can increase your basic allowance.

2. Certification:
   We will create the P-account certificate for you. You will receive it by post within 48 hours.

3. Bank:
   The increase amounts proven by the certificate are not subject to seizure. Your bank must provide them.

Cost information for ordering the P-account certificate

For SIC members: 60 euros
For non-members: 80 euros

• Purpose: P-account certificate, your first name and last name

Note on banks and P-accounts:

Banks must observe the basic allowance when making seizures. Individual increases must be proven by the P-account certificate. As long as this is not available, only the basic allowance applies.
